Two reasons for this:

1. First of all got this idea from viewtopic.php?f=94&p=145283 [Rhi's experimental drugs], anyone who plays researcher or makes meds as a doctor should read up on this. This is just to remind everyone in medical these drugs exist, as I see it they are almost never used.

2. I decided to share my pantented drug combination in light of Rhi's guide.

Good stuff Daniel. I think there will be a time when our super-soldier experiments will have 100% success and we'll be dishing out kick-ass augmented and stimmed super-soldiers.

Hyperzine, not Hydrazine. FYI, dumping Hyperzine into the shuttle at roundstart will get you banned for powergaming, push for authorization from the CO and CMO first (after the casualties start rolling in). They would be stupid to refuse when marines are dying on the ground. For TESTING purposes, you only need permission from the CMO but you should go the extra mile and do paperwork and get the CMO to sign off on it. Doing paperwork like this is how I have gotten away with testing the stuff below on Maintenance Techs and Cargo Techs. It's also how I managed to get bodies for testing ghetto surgery.

In any case, a few of mine that I've posted elsewhere to help fellow researchers out:

ROBUST COFFEE:
- Produce 200u Hyperzine
- Produce 50u filler (recommend: sugar, paracetamol, iron, tricordrazine, leporazine)
- Put all of the Hyperzine and filler into a bluespace, set transfer to 20u; vend 12x Coffee Cups and click each one once
Drinking more than one sip at a time is a bad idea, but you won't die because of the 50u filler. More than two will kill you though. In case of overdose, immediately inject with 5u water and then 5u potassium and administer Peridaxon and Dylovene. Use Dexalin if the patient is critical rather than Inaprovaline. No not consume with Peridaxon. Coffee is supposed to help with knockdown but I have not tested it actually.

Each sip will last about 10 seconds after kicking in. You can chain sips so that when you are about to run out more Hyperzine enters your system, that is what the buffer is for in reality.

ROBUST CIGARETTE:
- Produce Robust Coffee
- Dip a cigarette into the Robust Coffee
- Smoke it
A weaker effect produces 'bursts' of speed for about a minute and a half. Won't OD you. Drink a sip of Robust Coffee and then light this up to sustain the effect of Robust Coffee for longer.

SASAKI SHINJI'S PATENTED SUPER MALE VITALITY BAR:
- Produce 90u Synaptizine
- Produce 180u Dylovene
- Syringe solution into protein or EAT bars
Eating more than two bites will cause overdose, otherwise the Dylovene will cover for the Synaptizine. Reduces knockdown from those silly hunters. BECOME SUPERMAN! In case of overdose, immediately inject with 5u water and then 5u potassium and administer Dylovene and Tricordrazine. Instead of Inaprovaline, use Dexalin to combat suffocation if the patient is critical.

Each bite will provide an effect for about 20 seconds, you'll notice when it kicks in if you are at full HP because your health indicator will stop displaying the 100% mark.

If you want to, you can just stick this into coffee cups as well or pills if you're a real fuckin' lamer. Note that the food bars can contain 50u of the mix (each bite will transfer about 2u of Synaptizine and 4u of Dylovene and each bar has about 12 bites) while pills can only safely hold 15u. Pills better for quick deployment, bars better for fun.

SASAKI SHINJI'S PATENTED SUPER MALE VITALITY STICKS:
Requires a different recipe that above due to how cigarettes work:
- Produce 180u Synaptizine
- Produce 45u filler (does not matter what you put here)
- Dip cigarettes into the mix
Provides a CHANCE of reduced stun duration (about 30-40%) while there are chemicals in the cigarette (for about 2 minutes after lighting up). Replace Synaptizine with Hyperzine for a more potent effect than the Robust Cigarette.

In each case, effects take between 6 and 10 seconds to kick in.

Those were made before marines were allowed to use pills, you COULD get away with handing a marine a bottle of Hyperzine but I guarantee that that marine would keep them for themselves rather than spread them around. With the coffee cups and protein bars this is less of a problem.

Just make sure that they understand that it is not regular coffee and it is not regular protein bars. I always get one marine ignoring my instructions and overdosing.

Yeah I don't give out the medication in the droves in pills to single marines. I actually just prefer the Sulaco way of giving one pill to all marines who listened to my explanation because they are smart and know they are receiving something that can save their life; and I am also getting valuable feedback data on it's usefulness. As for the typo I keep saying Hydrazine as I played medical alot on Baystation so I mix up the words. And yeah, I know all the steps and paperwork needed as a researcher. This is just where I will be posting chemicals I make starting with the super-painkiller. It is just a recipe guide, so I expect that the researcher/doctor reading this knows not to get himself banned handing these out w/o permission like candy. Cigs, coffee, and bars are great ideas btw, but I really can't trust 20 marines to all only take 1 bite from a candy bar they see lying at the FOB, even if I labeled it who would bother examining. With a single pill you will never OD with it unless you just took random meds earlier (if that's the case your death will be natural selection). But I only started medical researcher as I was a bit salty about losing the more useful R&D, as a doctor can make any drugs a researcher can. I plan on making less controlled iffy compounds and making things all the marines can use like your EAT bars.

Actually, I'd put 6 bars/cups/cigarette packs in boxes and a sheet of paper explaining what they are labelled 'INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE' rather than just leave them all over the place. Or, you know, throw them at a marine when I'm evacing tell them to take only one bite and then run to the pods. Here is the one I used for the bars:

I like the cigarettes because they are completely idiot-proof. There is no way that you can overdose while using them. The worst that can happen is you are using a hyperzine cigarette, you get ruptured lungs and the medic doesn't know and tries to treat you with Peridaxon. This is why I don't like giving out t ehyperzine cigs so much but the synaptizine ones are great.
